Fig Flavor Categories

The flavor in the white marseille we have is very much maple syrup especially as it gets super ripe
Since I'm prone to analyze everything, I have some questions 🙂
This tree is potted?
In the weeks leading up to the ripening, it was in the greenhouse?
What were the weather conditions?
Which part of which month was the harvest?

  1. Glucose
  2. Fructose
  3. Mapletriose1
  4. Sucrose
The sugars in Fig "fruit" by concentration are:
  1. Fructose & Glucose, statistically tied
  2. Sucrose
