Fig Fanatic Dream Come True

Not too long ago, I had this hilarious dream. My wife and I were out of town, staying at an Airbnb, except this one happened to be owned and run by none other than our very own Fig Fanatic. Naturally, I decided to take a stroll and check out the backyard. And what do I find? A long wooden fence completely surrounded by gorgeous dormant fig trees. I even remember one of the names: Battaglia Green.
Then the dilemma hits me. Am I allowed to take cuttings from these trees? I mean… surely they’re complimentary, right? It is dormant season after all. So there I am, inspecting these thick buds on beautifully curved branches, thinking, “Maybe I should message @TorontoJoe and ask.” But before I could make up my mind, I got yanked right out of the dream 😂
Well… judging by what’s currently living under my sink cabinets, I’d say that dream pretty much came true and it looks like there’s still more to come. Thank you all for your generosity.

Wow! That looks and sounds amazing!
I am not the most cultured person, but I can appreciate good food 👌

Oh, me, too - I love good food and speak food fluently! 😊

I saw this being made at one of the food stalls at the Christmas Village at Bryant Park, NYC, and it was so cool to see the cheese melting from the flame in the center of this HUGE cheese wheel!
