Fig Bread?

I finally got the bread maker & Mill out of the box that my wife got me for Christmas.
One of the first thing I see is Fig Bread recipe!
You know I have to try that!

This thing is really cool, and the Mill....I made about 3 cups of flour for the first run as recommended by the manufacturer to "clean" out the machine.
But dang is it ever LOUD! lol

I will be making my first loaf of bread either tonight or tomorrow, need to do some reading first.

Fig Bread!!!....I'm gonna make so much Fig Bread. Muahahaha!!!

Chopped freeze dried figs added to bread?
That may help keep them from sinking during baking.
Man I have not made bread in about a year.
Now I have to make some lol.

I think have some small pieces in there instead of completely blending it in would be the cats pajamas!

lol....doing some reading right now, for my first go I think it is simply going to be a regular bread, no red wheat...just white.
Or crap who knows...I may do a half and half.

That looks beautiful. Just one question, where did you find the fig emoji in your post? Post a picture of the loaf of fig bread before you eat it all.

I literally was Just about to post that I’m back at making sourdough loaves after doing none in the month of December - if I get enough figs next season I will absolutely be trying to make a fig loaf!

That looks beautiful. Just one question, where did you find the fig emoji in your post? Post a picture of the loaf of fig bread before heat it all.

You forgot about zucchini bread. Also very delicious

@GoodFriendMike zucchini bread is same like Banana except you have to peel, deseed and grate the zucchini then add to batter. Don’t forget to add chopped walnuts. Update: you don’t peel or remove seeds, just take off stem and bottom and grate.

Figs should go great in some Potica bread.

It's like honey and walnuts cinnamon swirl. Easy to make.

I have a good recipe for banana bread I made.
I will have to substitute the banana with zucchini next time.
Might try mirliton as well.
