Facebook is full of scams and scammers. It's been this way for so long that the only option is Facebook approves of the conduct and/or facilitates some of it.

Honestly, most of fig tree sales happen on marketplace. I’m always thrilled to show buyers my collection and have them taste figs for the first time.

Etsy isn't any better especially with seeds. So many scam seed shops (selling blue sunflower seeds and seeds for butterfly shaped flowers, etc). No matte how many shops I report they don't get taken down. I don't think etsy cares at all.

Facebook knows but a huge majority of their profits come from scams.

Herman2 is legitimate on eBay. There is also some folks that sell across, FigBid, Etsy, and EBay. If you do your do diligence and don’t just click buy, you can find some good things.

He is, I got a few things from him last year. Waiting till he started back up again so I can get Vasilika black from him.

I bought CDDN and Marseille Black from him, way back when. When does he typically start selling cuttings now? Wild west days when you could buy stuff on ebay from people like Vasile, Keith, Ben B. I’m not sure a lot of new people know what VS or KK designations are from.

He was selling up until the end of December. Not sure when he will start up again. He usually does dormant and non-dormant cuttings.
