Fairfax strawberry

I saw edible landscaping had Fairfax strawberries available so I swung by and picked up a couple. They are a little more susceptible to disease than modern varieties, but for fresh eating have long had a reputation as one of the best tasting. We’ll see if they beat out Seascape and Mara des Bois.

My blueberry guy grows a lot of different items, I got some strawberries from him, but he didn't remember what variety...I let them take over a raised bed and so far have been really good.
This old guy doesn't remember a lot of what he has growing (variety wise) but they are some of the best.
Especially the BBerries!
