Wonder if that would cook the pollen?
I wonder too. But if I can’t get the pollen out because it’s too wet, I’ve got nothing to lose by trying it and learning. I’d start slowly, but I’m running out of figs to experiment with. Three of my Enderud got eaten by critters last night.Wonder if that would cook the pollen?
The squirrel's seem to love mine. Not sure why. They take one bite and leave the rest.I wonder too. I've set the dehydrator on very low temp, no warmer than outdoors on a sunny day assuming that it wouldn't damage the pollenWonder if that would cook the pollen?
Main crop. MammoniBees were buzzing around my ripening Saleeb so they must smell “good” to other critters too. When I arranged my fig patch, I put my caprifigs and Smyrnas on the perimeter closest to the woods thinking that they wouldn’t be taken as much. Ooops!
Aren’t Saleeb and Enderud supposed to be edible? I can never remember which crop.
Dehydrators introduce heat and air flow so may be counter productive
