I understand that completely! I'm pretty fussy about my yard also.I’m not allowed to plant anything in the yard, that’s his domaine. I just give him what I want and he picks out where it should go and he plants it. I don’t care as long as it’s planted. He’s very fussy about his yard.

D0 you ever leave the peppers on the plant until they turn red?This morning my husband planted our new Chicago Hardy tree. Garden getting crowded. For the first time the peppers are growing fantastic despite having been completely stripped of leaves early this spring from a late frost along with all the tomato plants. My Genovese Basil plant is HUGE, every time it starts to go to seed I pluck it off and it just gets bigger. And last the marigolds are in bloom.

I tried to grow them last year but they didn’t do well so I tried again this year and they are doing good so far. I got one picked but it’s green because the stem broke so I picked it. I’m going to try to let them grow till they turn unless animals start trying to get them.
