Dwarf Everbearing Mulberry:
Any recommendations on where to buy an established plant or air-layer?

I've got a bunch of small rooted ones ans cuttings whidh also root easily after fully leafing out ... I have better success with some mulberry cuttings that are thin after leafinf than I do with dormant cuttings... reach out if you didn't find one

FYI the standard dwarf everbearing maybe more of a semi dwarf they get tall fast but im milder climates will keep fruiting as soon as you trim .. mind did not fruit in year one wither but fairly sure they're the same I tried to get unique dwarfs at first and two or three were exactly the same plant.. decent berries lots of them in year two, twice my height easy to root but there are better ones for fruit quality

True dwarfs are the Issai Berry which isn't bad but really a dwarf. Logees dwarf I got may have been rubra leaning with a more tart berry, also Mojo which has another name .. and Girardi

I called Lucille at Whitman Farms today and placed an order… she will ship my Gerardi on Monday.
The female weeping mulberry from OGW will also be delivered next week.
Exciting “mulberry” times 😊

I rooted a cutting last year. I received it from our local CRFG club. I let it fruit this year, the fruit is underwhelming. As the session progressed, the flavor got a bit better. I'm hoping it gets better closer to summer or as the tree ages. The mulberries are really small which is a downside.

I haven't tasted any other ripe mulberries to compare. I'm rooting a few more varieties to try. I've heard great things about the Pakistan and green Australian.

If you haven't, I would try to taste them locally before investing in them. I want to grow them as they require less maintenance than any other berries. Strawberries get lots of pest, and they are messy. Blueberries get kind of wild and wide (not a problem if you have space). Blackberries grow wild vines and need support. They can spread like a weed. Boysenberrie are similar to blackberries but the harvest window is really tight. Goes from sour to spoiled with fruit flies maggots in as short as a day or two. Mulberry are ready to propegate and grow like a tree. Easy to prune and keep in a small area.

I was rather shocked to see a Dwarf Mulberry amongst other items (dragonfruit, Okinawa spinach and other fruiting plants) at our Lowe's store this week. The pots were wrapped in Becknel Nursery packaging. Another surprise.
