Yes, I have a cultivar with a berry flavor that matches the berry flavor of M. macroura 'Pakistan'. This is no surprise, as Ficus and Morus are sister genera. Likewise, I've found that one of my solely sweet (not honey) figs matches the flavor of M. alba 'Honey Drops'.
pretty cool. Che is somewhat related as well right? Musk melon is definately a flavor ive detected in figs so that checks out (the che i have tried taste of cantaloupe)

There a 5 fundamental flavors recognized by the human olfactory system: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami. The last 3 have at least 2 dimensions each, resulting in a coordinate system totaling at least 8 dimensions. There is a lot of room for variation!

Musk melon flavors occupy a portion of this. They are generally moderate to high in sweetness; low in acid (sour), salt, and bitter; and low to moderate in umami. As a result, they usually lack berry overtones -- which we associate with a combination of acid, sweet, and umami.
