@9ah-figlet , @bushdoctor82 Thank you for your generosity Nina. Even though I am still green with Envy. I helped pass out cuttings donated to the Figfanatic platform.... I still did pretty good for one of our newer members .If you got any Figo Preto cuttings from @Endirenay, they were also from @bushdoctor82's tree. With luck, you need not be green with envy!
You’re very welcome @Figless! I’m happy to see the tradition of sharing that is ingrained in the fig community continuing with your efforts. I imagine when DMV members first visit this forum, this may be one of the 1st posts they read to get more info about their new figs. By showing how much we share among ourselves, this thread shows what a warm and welcoming community we are.@9ah-figlet , @bushdoctor82 Thank you for your generosity Nina. donated about 20 HSK cuttings for our lucky new members. I got one too. Next year should be another banner year for cutting giveaways.
This is one of my favs! It'll get earlier ripening as the tree matures and more Breba!Next up is Rigato de Salento (PB), a beautiful striped honey fig that makes tasty breba. Last season, my 2-yr old mother tree (from OTBP) put on figlets in mid June and I started eating the main crop in early September.

This cutting is just as prolific as the mother tree, and has got a fig already!

This variety can easily revert to a solid green version. The figs will taste the same—just not as pretty. To make sure these figs stay striped, be sure to prune out any branches that put out solid green figs quickly.
This tree is available as a raffle item at the DMV Figfest.
Next up is the most-coveted fig by those in the know—Vince #3 Unknown. Originating from the greater Toronto area, this fig is a nearly unheard of early ripening Adriatic. Imagine not having to wait till October to eat strawberry jam-filled green figs! More info and a burgeoning fan club is available here: https://figfanatic.com/threads/vince-3.100/
While this fig is hard to find, two rooted cuttings will be available at the DMV Figfest on Saturday. Come buy a raffle ticket or ten for a chance to win what is nearly impossible to buy.

Next up is Black Celeste. This fig is so super sweet sugary that ants try to get in the bag! It’s texture is soft and slightly chewy with no seed crunch. It’s super prolific too!

Available in the raffle on Saturday!
Next up is Boysenberry Blush, another California seedling prized for its large size, thick texture, unique boysenberry jam flavor, and ability to ripen really good figs even without the wasp. It even ripens well in the shade. Do be careful about ripening in too cold weather because the skin can be bitter (don’t eat the breba).
This fig was my “white whale” fig that I couldn’t get until a generous member helped me out and I’m happy to share at the DMV raffle this Saturday.

The fig list is taking a slight pause to thank Figfanatic.com's fearless leader @TorontoJoe for donating the following cool swag for giveaways as the DMV Figfest. We will be promoting the forum at the DMV event with tabletop signs like below.
