Commonly used fig acronyms

I know that there is a lot going on behind the seen with the admin staff.    In the future, would it be possible to expand on this list of acronyms to include variety descriptions of fruit , leaves, growing habits, pictures?  Kind of like a Figfanatic owned version of Figdatabase.  That would be a highly valuable resource to new and experienced fig growers.

BMKK, WM#1, HDA...  This thread is for those wondering what they all mean. Please help me populate this list.

For now anyone can edit but once we get it filled up, I'll lock it down so we can limit tampering. Eventually, I hope to be able to add tables directly in threads.

Please make your acronym addition HERE

And please feel free to post below to discuss fig acronyms

Why not just ask good ole Joe to buy figdatabase and he can move it here and claim it as his. Otherwise, good luck.  :)

@"TorontoJoe"#1 . Acronyms just a fact of life... LOL I still haven't memorized them all. I was feeling peculiar about it tell Teresa admitted she still has some trouble with them too. It's certainly going to be a very popular feature, and one the old house did not have.

Joe"#1 . Any chance we could have a greenhouse (how to section) in frequently asked questions? There will always be threads of members showing their new Greenhouse, but that's quite a bit different than a how to section.
I’m still in the boat with you my friend. 😉

Odd. I tried it on a Mac and an iPhone, which I assume would be the same as an iPad let me try and get my hands on an iPad. I’ll have to pry it away from my kid.
Ok right now I'm on my Motorola cell phone. It's a android. The list works beautifully. I just finished updating my iPad. I'll try it again.
