Cleaning used tree pots before indoor rooting

I will be honest… I do not clean the pots at all anymore and just knock out loose dirt and start again. I’ve had no issue.

I would use new pots if inside vs. used pots outside.

Id just buy new pots for the indoor operation, and use the old pots outside after shaking or beating out anything left inside. Sounds like you need more in total then that pile of 600.

That is what I’ve done in the past but with the government shutdown we aren’t sure when we will receive a paycheck so cleaning was the most economical option.

Same for me. Outdoors I don't worry about it... Indoor pots can go out... but not the other way around. I've learned the hard way that it's easy to create an infestation
