This is the tomato plant I got from the Milmont nursery April 13. It's got it's first tomato.

Can't go wrong with Brandywine... A few years back, I saw an older gentleman selling tomatoes at the farmers' market in Buffalo, NY. Those tomatoes with large, dark pink and covered in soil... they didn't look very presentable, but they caught my eye... besides, at $8 for a large basket, they felt like a steal... so we got a basket... Let me tell you, those were some of the best tomatoes I've ever tasted... He called them pink brandywine... he had been growing them for 40-50 years, he said... I now plant several plants every year, these are on our top 5 list.
