Blueberry Bees

Anyone familiar with blueberry bees? From every thing that I've read about them, they do not live this far west. Not likely west of the Mississippi River but possibly in Louisiana. I'm in east Texas. I took a couple pics, not really very good pics though. They look like bumble bees but are much smaller. I have three Rabbit Eye Blueberry bushes and these are supposed to be the best bees to pollinate them. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen blueberry bees in Texas, or if these look like blueberry bees to you.

I've been trying to make apples pollinate here in Dalllas for several days.. finally a few degrees into the 80s brought the bees out .. they were all over the plums a few weeks ago... more wasps than Bees though and moths at night

What we have here are Blue Bees... im not sure of the name and i saw a pair of Honeybees, followed by another that seemed to be in rotation visiting the little apple tree flowers...

Occasionally we will see Bumble Bees. They love Morning glories...I used to see alot of Mason Bees but not for a few years I've been thinking I should make some nests @ drilling holes ... maybe read up on what attracts them and install and attractor

They do sort of look familiar
I'm wondering how Blueberries do there in general. Are other bees helping? and what types? I've not been successful with them yet i though maybe too hot or jist not enough effort on my part to keep the soil at the right ph...

There are 2 rabbit eye bushes blooming and at all times atleast 1 or 2 bees on the bushes, often 4 or 5 bees. They are all the same type of bees. No other types of bees are ever there. I was at a family member's house in Ennis and I was interested in what kind of bees were on their plants. None of the bees in their yard looked like the bees on our blueberries. I also went to Bob Wells nursery in Mineola. They have A LOT of blueberry bushes and none of the bees on their blueberries looked like the ones on our plants. We live at Cedar Creek lake and there is atleast 5 blueberry farms within 20-40 miles from here. I just have a theory that there are blueberry bees here.

I think Mason Bees are supposed to be some of our best native pollinators especially for analler flowerw but maybe weather or home depot chemicals are wiping them ..out I havent seen them in years ... I know ppl around keep beehives so not a shortage of Honeybees but they want alot of flowers to play with...

to keep mason bees around i saw wheer you can drill holes in fence posts and allegedly they will nest near a flower supply maybe I will ger around it I saw a 4x4 block with a hole in it just the other day I should put more holes in it and prop it somewhere

I've noticed the bees will show interest in white or white pink flowers... apple plums...but they don't screw with pink flowers here... so im the bee this year.

I have been seeing a lot of bumble and carpenter bees here.
I welcome them. But will seal the small gap the bumble's found in my soffit.
After they are done nesting of course.
