I've been trying to make apples pollinate here in Dalllas for several days.. finally a few degrees into the 80s brought the bees out .. they were all over the plums a few weeks ago... more wasps than Bees though and moths at night
What we have here are Blue Bees... im not sure of the name and i saw a pair of Honeybees, followed by another that seemed to be in rotation visiting the little apple tree flowers...
Occasionally we will see Bumble Bees. They love Morning glories...I used to see alot of Mason Bees but not for a few years I've been thinking I should make some nests @ drilling holes ... maybe read up on what attracts them and install and attractor
