Saw this video last night that shows 10 different ways to start your seeds. He even shows a website that has great info on 7000 plants.

I am! next week is when is tart my onion and leeks. I already winter sowed my natives in milk jugs last week. this week is the rest of the fig cutitngs

I’m holding off as long as possible. February for fig cuttings and March for vegetable and flower seeds.

seedtime! its great. you need to play with it to organize it but its excellent. free too. theres a paid version but i dont use it

I’m going to start my pepper seeds beginning of February because they take 2 weeks at least before they germinate and they don’t grow fast at least for me. Going to use his ziplock bag with the damp paper towel method.

Yup, you’re right, certain peppers take a much longer time to germinate that you think!

I've been getting ready for seed starting for almost a year. XD Trying to decide what to sow with the uncertainty of *hopefully* a move coming up sometime in the not terribly distant future - and with most of my pots currently being dedicated to figs.

im on long island. where it says "seeding" those are being started inside. where it says "direct seed" those are going right into the ground.

2 tips to make it really come alive, you can adjust either to have it be a winter crop or a summer crop so it will base it off either first frost or last frost. and then if you right click the crop you can make a succession crop, usually 2 weeks later to extend any harvest of things that dont continuously produce.
