Anyone growing Mussega?

So a local grower tells me that this is one of their favorites in their collection. Not a lot of info and all I could find was some folks in Europe sharing pictures of it.

Anyone growing it and perspective if it's a keeper ?

Is this Pons' version of Sucrette? Does it have a finger type leaf?

@DCallahan Thanks, No I've been told that it's distinct from Sucrette (both versions) ... The seller was not willing to share pictures - as this is one of their rarer ones and "they do not want their pictures to be reused".

Sucrette verte is a honey fig I think. I have cul noir and Sucrette USDA. Those are honey berry fig. They are not the same either.

Ross would be my best bet to get that one, but he will probably only be selling the tree in the spring, not a cutting.

Interesting, I did not know that he did private sales for stuff not listed on his website and blog etc. Thank you for sharing.

I did some research on the web and looks like that the picture you posted is definitely of a caprified fig. I’m pretty sure I read it before that this is a honey sugar fig without caprification, unless it’s a different fig

I had a cutting growing and snapped the whole bud off only accident ive had all year @Profig brian melton has mussega blanca the synonym. Thats where i got mine

I hope to try it again next year if it doesnt come back from disaster. Was a nice cutting and rooted quickly and was growing great til i broke it.

Thanks you ! I believe this is not a synonym for Mussega Blanca which is from Thierry's collection
