I got some cuttings started. They are called orchid cactus because of their showy flowers. I have a related oxypetulum Queen of the Night that I got as a ctting many years ago. The flowers bloom at night an wilt the next day. They are related to the dragonfruit. Commonly grown in Florida and California.

Man then definately should experiment with dragonfruit too! They have really pretty flowers plus i enjoy their fruit. The storbought ones are a little bland but theres some good cultivars out there, and even when bland theyre still pleasent to eat and quite pretty

I have a few, they havn't bloomed yet, but they were sent as cuttings a few years ago. I admit, I'm not the best at anything grown indoors !

Don’t feel bad. The only houseplant I can keep is my aloe Vera. The cats haven’t figured out how to kill it yet lol.
I'm trying. I didn't have any until last year....but the winter blues got to me so bad I had to try something ! I do have my adeniums that normally sit out in the greenhouse all over the kitchen, and most plants either in the kitchen window, OR, downstairs in our work area where the door remains shut ( the cats )
