Hi everyone, I am new to this group. I live in Hollywood, Florida zone 11a and grow figs in containers in my backyard.

Who else lives in my area?

11a? Sheesh you can grow almost anything in ground must be crazy with the pests and diseases during the summer though

Zone 11a?.....tell us what it's like.....sometimes living vicariously eases the fig pain of not being able to grow certain varieties.....btw are you related to the goaltender?

I would melt along with the black pots. I just cant imagine how often I would need to water the trees. Using grow bags isnt recommended.
