Any advice on using Epsom salts in yellowing small fig trees?

I have a couple of newly planted trees that the leaves are yellowing.

All other trees planted at that time are flourishing under the same conditions.

A gardening ap suggested I use Epsom salts in water every 10 days.

Seems to be some data to support using Epsom salts. Anyone in the group ever use it on your fig trees and if so how much and how were your results. Thank you

Have you fertilized them, could be low on nitrogen and or calcium. Could also be overwatering
I hav fertilized but maybe I need to do more, it was a month ago...
I've heard Calcium is good for figs and nitrogen too. I'll try those...
What calcium would you recommend?Thank you.

Not overwatering... we're in drought conditions but I mulch so the soil feels moist but not wet at all.
All the other figs seem to be growing well. This fig tree, the leaves are yellowing and dropping leaves...

Some close-up pictures of how they look now would be helpful. Also, if you have any before pictures to see how the trees looked before planting. Leaves turning yellow and dropping could be caused by a number of things - underwatering, overwatering, nutrient deficiency, transplant shock, disease, even pests... Examining leaves more closely can help. If the leaves are soft and hydrated, it can be due to overwatering... dry and crispy - underwatering... etc... are there any abnormal spots on the leaves? That could mean a bacterial or fungal disease... often, the state of the leaves reflects the health of the roots. How did the root system look compared to the roots of the trees that are doing fine now? Lots of variables here... I hope I am wrong, but I don't believe simply feeding them Epsom salt will magically fix the underlying cause.

Thank you, a lot of variables

Leaves look yellow but they were a little yellow green when planted, no spots, I have 2 of the same variety one is still in the pot with a little yellow green tint to it. Both came from the same seller, not a lot of soil in either pot, I am now thinking some kind of nutrient deficiency. Will take photos tomorrow.

I did fertilize today after I used Epsom salts in water. Will post updates.

Thank you

Calcium and Magnesium will compete with each other and figs REALLY like their calcium so I would go more in that direction if I were in your shoes. Or at least do both minerals.
