That exactly what I feel like sometimes..lol
Do you have PTSD from last year or do you have a reason to think it will be worse?I’m bracing for a bad critter year as well.
I guess when you're surrounded by woods...you have to expect some form of critter thievery.I’m bracing for a bad critter year as well.
Overall, last year wasn’t bad for me. The raccoons and opossums didn’t move in until Fall when most of my trees were finishing up.Do you have PTSD from last year or do you have a reason to think it will be worse?
I was hoping it would be better because last year was a mast year (so plenty of acorns for plenty of babies) and a drought (eating fruit for water).
I haven't seen chipmunks in my area but my neighbor installed a new security light/camera with a motion detector. Every night, I see the hunched-back waddle of a raccoon go by. I still need to deal with whatever has taken up residence under my shed. It dug a big hole to scoot underneath. Given its size, I suspect it is a groundhog..... There goes my optimism!Overall, last year wasn’t bad for me. The raccoons and opossums didn’t move in until Fall when most of my trees were finishing up.
I’m bracing because quite a few chipmunks have moved back in the yard, squirrels have already dug up and killed 2 pepper plants (I’ve resorted to small hardware cloth cages to protect the base and is working out well), a big ol’ groundhog has appeared a month early in neighbors yard and mockingbirds have set up shop in perimeter trees. Hopefully the raccoons and opossums take the Summer off again.
Good lord brother...sounds like you have 7 nations armies after your goods.Overall, last year wasn’t bad for me. The raccoons and opossums didn’t move in until Fall when most of my trees were finishing up.

Last Fall I resurfaced and installed hardware cloth around my deck after noticing the groundhog running underneath to hide - they left a large burrow underneath.I haven't seen chipmunks in my area but my neighbor installed a new security light/camera with a motion detector.
