AFTER THE CARNAGE !!

I hand watered for a long time but once I got the drip system I never looked back. So convenient. I do want to get off city water. I have loads of ground water and a sump that works regularly. These season or next I'd like to figure out where to put a reservoir so I can pump the sump water up and use that for the plants.
One of my projects this season is to set up a rain collection system on each of my sheds. I’ll be able to harvest ~50 gallons off each shed per 1” of rainfall. Just have to figure out what I’ll be using for storage.

It's probably a good thing I live on the other side of the country or I'd probably bring a trailer to pick those up. lol
Kevin I'm hoping you feel like you did pick them up they're just here in your California crisper waiting for you to decide what you wish to do with them. Basically all my fig cuttings have been taken and stored waiting for us fig pop them, no cup and Lids this year. All the other cuttings are fig fanatic cuttings. Waiting to be employed by fanatic management however they wish. They are yours Kevin.

My sump pump moves probably 500+ liters of ground water daily that currently ends up being dumped. It's ridiculous. I've been trying to find a tall, narrow water reservoir for some time. The best ones I've found are in Australia and cost a fortune to get here.

Roth makes a tank generally used for home heating oil that is upright and square and made of plastic/composite material. Other tank options could be the type used for self-contained home sprinkler systems.

All the water storage tanks we have seen run about $1 per gallon of storage. IBC totes are usually the most affordable water storage. But only hold 250-300 gallons.
