Whats your biggest leaf?

Several articles from LSU document that Improved Celeste was the trial name of fig O'Rourke. A recent article also documents that there are false Improved Celeste in circulation.

Here's an excerpt from one of the articles. If your leaves look like Tiger, then you have a false Improved Celeste.

Hate to rain on this parade of fascination with enormous fig leaves, but 99% of the time I see huge leaves it's because the tree, or a part of the tree, does not get enough light, and that's a problem, not a cool feature. Happens all the time when my grow tent becomes crowded and some leaves become shaded out by other leaves, then suddenly double or triple in size. Big leaves seem to be an adaptation to maximize photosynthetic area.

So far in this thread, 8 persons have submitted photos of their large leaves. Three of them are in full sun. Thus, so far 37.5% are receiving plenty of light.

@Charlie Dodgson I just checked the time stamp for the pictures of my leaves. They were taken on 09/07/2025 at 6 pm. The tree is in full sun all day till around 5:30 - 6:00 when the sun is setting. I purchased my Improved Celeste from Peaceful Heritage. I heard he is a reputable seller. The figs from this tree has thin skin unlike the ones from my Tiger whose skin was thick and chewy.
