Giveaway ideas

Hello Everyone! As some of you may know I have the honor of being friends with @FiggyEd the crazy man that he is. Well, he, myself, @MyFigStix and @goodnessatlanta have the single node challenge going with Angelitos. Well from that, I have now 8 successfully rooted Angelitos. Most did not end up being single nodes..oops.
Anyways I wanted to come here and ask opinions on what you all think the “criteria” should be to be entered into having a chance at winning an angelito through figfanatics or YouTube on my channel(@JaysfigsTx). I myself will be having a separate giveaway from the group for FOUR of the angelito. The other four will be in a larger giveaway to come up with our group.
What would be a fun way to get the fig community to interact? Let me know your opinion. I was partially considering making part of the rules to have an account on this forum. All opinions welcome, this is simply to have fun and give back to the community, not to grow any channels

Definitely a "like and subscribe", maybe "add a comment down below", or maybe something that involves having a Facebook account. Those are definitely my favorite options on this forum!

Must be a member of the forum. And best story of why you grow figs. Always interesting to hear how people got into growing figs.

I agree with Mike, I'd say if you have Angelito give some others a chance to get one, but don't really want to count people out.

If the idea is to get newer people engaged, maybe something like for any member with no avatar image.... a contest for best new picture?

Or maybe a challenge for members who joined this year? Like most cuttings rooted by members who've been around less than 3 months?

I think mikes onto something for sure. I thought about doing the giveaway on this site just to mix things up so this is great food for thought. I will give an update post soon.

Correct. Danny and I discussed this. We don’t want any crazy rules, just for people to express their passion and have fun with it. Plus, Angelito is a wonderful variety that a lot of people need to add to their collection!
