Anyone have any firsthand experience dealing with fig4all.com?
Who's running it? Are they active in the fig community?

Ross made a post saying they were using his own pictures of fruit / trees on their website. Seemed fishy to me but they are very active on FB

WOW!! Most of the pictures are directly from Ross's website. Even using the same Adriatic fig picture like Ross does for several varieties of Adriatic. And selling Kuromitsu trees for 125.00 and saying they got the cuttings from Shopbunker. The cuttings werr probably that much.

Figs4all is one and I think the copycat drops the s, so it’s fig4all. Likely scam based on all available info but if they are willing to prove themself otherwise it would be beneficial.

Figs4all has the microphone and I'm standing next to him in the photo.
He runs a great community fig group on FB and my friend is very generous with distributing his unique heirloom varieties.
Don't get the two confused with each other.
Super fishy site creating a business with a play on an active name in the community AND stealing Ross' photos.
Give these points would you trust what you from them to be received or true to type?

To be honest I don’t trust many positive reviews on newer sites, I usually check for negative reviews or any that show what they would change even if 5 star. Many sites pay for fake reviews on purpose for deception.

If the photos were 1st put on theirfigs, wouldnt the photos now be owned by them since their membership claims the rights to all photos on their site. People copy websites all the time. I personally wouldn’t even consider them myself for fear of being scammed.

Ya the Marketing / Hosting company can provide embedded positive reviews and also self generate content and such to drive a website to the top of a search algorithm. At least that's what I was told when solicited years ago for an old retail business.

Ive wondered what the legal standing of the ownership statement over there. And how does it mesh with all of the duplicate posts that members of both forums copy and paste back and forth.
