CLOSED: Rooting CCGP Cuttings Clearance Giveaways

Received my 20 fig cuttings yesterday from the fig giveaway. I was excited to see what came and thankful to everyone involved. The evening was spent getting those babies started. Hopefully I can keep my water and temperatures right and have a very green Spring. FYI... Used coco coir, peat and perlite in clear cups to see root growth. Plan to send pics soon.
Here is my best CCGP fig starts after 19 days. These have been faster than some I purchased. Thanks FF 💪👋👍
PS: That's Fig fanatics not fast food 🤣

What miix of soil and moisture do you use and why don't you wrap them?
Mostly coco coir w/ some peat and perlite. Start fairly moist then give it a week and add water if needed around outside of cup so moisture drops show. If I cover in plastic usually only about 1 week because I'm afraid of mold. Darker room on heat mat about 80*. Add more light with roots and leaves. I'm certain they are better ways but I'm not OCD, yet.🤫

Yours seems so much faster! One of mine is just pushing out a bud now- can I wait a bit before adding a grow light / putting it by the window? I'm afraid the window is too cold still

I bought some earlier and it took 2 months to show anything. Sometimes it's out of your control. Don't give up on them to early. Don't over water or let dry out. You can tell a lot about moisture by picking up and feeling weight.

You’ll have leaves here before too long. I would get them under a grow light as soon as possible. It will start making energy for the cutting and will keep the new branches from stretching. If you can’t it’s not a death sentence or anything, but not ideal.
