Thank you so much! I'm in the San Gabriel Valley near Los Angeles, grow zone 10a, and I have a Bordissot Negra Rimada, Violette de Bourdeaux, and Black Madeira. I love berry flavors and I read that those would be three great ones. I'm told this is a good climate for late season figs. However, I'm squarely in black fig fly territory as well, so I will definitely not count any figs before they're hatched! I'll be watching this board for all newbie advice... for now I'm trying to keep them watered but not waterlogged, giving them sun but not baking them (it's unseasonably warm here!), and really enjoying the sudden bursting of leaves....I have to say for being new to figs you’re doing a great job. What state are you located? Grow zone? That helps us help you when you need advice. Different areas have different requirements for growing fig trees. What 3 varieties do you have there?
