small trees + people who want the whole collection and therefore buy every new one probably makes them disappear quicker too. Though Cessac and cosme manyo are two ive seen floating around in hype talks. I thought the cessac hype died a bit though

Got everything we were going for except Figo Mulato. A lot fewer than in past years. I think we have most of his varieties at this point, we were looking at the less known ones.

No, its just so many people talk about how fast one has to be to get what you want. The hype is what got me to watch the sale. I just expected more sold out signs.

He got a lot of new ones this winter (if his cuttings root). Personally if I were him I'd get rid of the bottom 5 or 10 (selling the least and not a top tier taste) to make room for new varieties

I have been in this hobby for 5-6 years and I have been watching his inventory for most of those years. From what I see, very few new varieties have been added on an annual basis. The Pound was new as well as the Cessac. Those were sold out within 10 minutes.

If you compare what people have on their wishlists with what is being sold at this sale, not too many matches.

I meant he bought cuttings of new varieties this winter. He admitted needing to add new varieties.
