I was reading @DallasFigShop 's post and watching the video about Comfrey and it reminded me of KUDZU!
Not that comfrey is a super invasive plant like Kudzu, but for the reason it is here in America.
If you haven't read the history on it, it's pretty interesting.
Never really paid attention until I moved to the south.
I believe if we ceased to exist, Kudzu would indeed take over the world and cover EVERYTHING!
But the story in a nut shell....it was brought here because of ornamental reasons, but found out it brought fields with poor soil back to life.
Farmers started using it and eventually left it unchecked.
Give it a read sometime.
