What's The Best Honey Fig?

I got roots! I have a Hollier cutting with roots. I know I get way too excited over these things, Lol. Thanks to the generosity of @Bofig . I would like to grow the best honey figs. I have Izbat An Naj and LSU Gold but I am going to gift the LSU Gold to a friend that just bought a new house and would like a fig tree in his yard. I have Zaffiro on my WL. I would like my honey fig collection started with these 3 varieties Hollier, Izbat An Naj, and Zaffiro. Any suggestions for other honey figs that I should add to my WL? I am interested in unique flavors. What are your favorite honey figs?

I saw pics you posted in another thread of LSU-156. It looks very good. I may have to add that one to the list.

There is. I have three varieties. Planning to get another this cutting season. So I can compare all of them.

Personally....if I had to keep one honey fig....It would be Hollier.
Having said that...there are a few I have not tried, so in the future that could change.

Oh yeah, Campaniere is also up there for me, on the early side and very tasty!

I have two zaffiro cuttings I'm hoping will root that I put in a week ago. I have a little sweet joy I got from OTBP and I have a campaniere and 2 Peter's honey that I believe have rooted. I am hoping for a hollier next year. I also have a white Marseilles . I think that's a honey. I want to eventually have an early middle and later fig in honey sugar and berry. I say that thinking I'll narrow it down to maybe a total of 20 that I love but yeah ... I don't know...

I think so. I read someone describe it as tasting like a really ripe banana. I could see that but there was also a fruitiness to it as well. And with it being very sweet, it made me think of Juicy Fruit gum. Maybe others can chime in with their thoughts.
