My orchard is in CA, near Santa Rosa. We have mild mediterranean climate. It's very dry in the summer months. Daytime and night time temps can have up to 40 degrees swing. It's so dry that the atmosphere can't hold on to the heat.

Yes, it's one of the later ones. I think it started ripening the first one about midway through Cravens Craving(Black Madeira type) ripening season. If you want to grow this, you need to give it a good solid head start.
