Tomato Bread? Yes, tomato Bread

Apizza started as flat bread in Naples until the plum tomatoes grown in the volcanic soils of San Marzano sul Sarno (near Vesuvius) were combined with Mozzarella and basil.

Later these "tomato pies" hit the East Coast in the early 1900's (with a wave of Italian immigrants) and BAM! it was on like Donkey Kong baby!

Our county has a "Pink Tomato Festival" as the major (only) festival celebrating what was for decades one of the top two industries - growing tomatoes. Bradley county became famous for a variety, "Bradley" (actually named after the breeder's father), develop at the U of Arkansas from the Arkansas Traveler and Gulf State tomatoes and released in 1961. I spent 5 summers working in commercial tomato fields, I can't convey how much fun that was ;)

Bradley's are excellent slicers with outstanding flavor - perfect for one of my favorite summer guilty pleasures - BLTs! Bread + Tomato + Bacon (and like Miracle Whip), outstanding and I could eat them all day long!

Then there's cornbread versus Mexican Cornbread (not even close) :)

Seems like bread and tomatoes are a match made in Heaven.

The Bradley is it determinate or indeterminate? Where can I order seeds?
