Here’s a picture of my backyard taken when we first moved in last September. That’s the big tree I posted above. IMG_2123.jpegWe went from 1.33 acres to just about a .25 acre. So there’s room for the 11 trees plus Vince #3 if all goes well. I have the 2 cuttings I bought from Big Bill that I’m trying the old Italian man way to root, direct inground. I’m thinking if I should uncover to see out of curiosity but curiosity killed the cat and I don’t want to kill the cuttings.
 
Your backyard looks perfect, and perfectly ready to receive new fig trees.

If you saw how many fig trees Mr Phil @Fig Gazer , or @Venturabananas manage to fit in very normal sized residential lots. You would be reassured that you can be a bit more ambitious in your fig acquisitions.

Wow Teresa your backyard looks amazing. Not to mention very spacious, and currently quite vacant. Seven or eight fig trees would hardly make a dent in it. You can easily fit that handsome husband, and 30, or more beautiful fig fruit trees, in that sunny backyard. Not to mention lots of other fruit trees as well.

@Venturabananas frankenfigs look absolutely beautiful in his front yard, they don't really look crowded, and they are holding a 100 grafted varieties each. I wish I had taken some pictures of them when I was just there. Maybe Mark will be kind enough to pop in here, and post a couple of pictures of them. You've actually got room for a quick start Greenhouse as well. My 10x20 Greenhouse would fit in your backyard without making it look crowded at all. LOL looks like you have a 50-ft fence line in one picture you posted. Teresa I'm sending you out some available variety lists... You can always delete them if you like.

We also have a Maekawa Jiro persimmon and a Li jujube.
