Zone 7a Virginia Still Pumping Out Tasting Plates

Last two days of production. I-258 in pot (12:30) clockwise -> Olympian, Barbillone, Armacord (pot), LDA, Peter’s Honey, Green Michurinska (last), WM#1 (last, potted), VDB, and 3 Mt. Etnas. Olympians, LDAs, Barbillones, and Peter’s Honey figs are still ripening well. Still no frost!

Great looking plate of figs. No frost here yet either. But not sure my last figs are going to ripen in time.

Thanks. All are outdoors. Most are from in-grounds. A few were potted and are indicated. There are only three that seem like they want to keep going - LDA, Olympian, Peter’s Honey, and Barbillone (has a few to go that are colored up and swollen).

Thank you; I’m very fortunate, but it shows the importance of picking the right varieties for in-ground trees for your zone. This was a tough year too - all my in grounds are a month late at least because of a late frost.

That's really good for Virginia, Mine are all done.
In fact I just picked off all remaining figs, probably about 100 figs all together.
Saved some for the Greek recipe that @Kompakfigs posted.
