Yup, it's a spotted lantern fly for sure

@"Figgerlickinggood"#7,  @"ktrain"#2 I'm almost certain that the spot where they are gathering at the Staunton Virginia Walmart has a electric device that's emanating at 60 MHz. This compels for some reason spotted Lantern flies to congregate. They don't want your fig trees Kevin... They would much prefer your tasty grapevines. They do like to Hitch rides when they can.. they might think that area at the Staunton Virginia Walmart is a Uber pickup spot.

@"Figless"#18   I may have to cover the grapes up even though we don't have them here....seems everything wants my grapes. Lol

I just decided to plant some grapes next year.  Think I’m going to forget that idea.  I’ll stick to fig trees.  Ok grapes are out, do they like to eat tomatoes?

@"ktrain"#2. Tomatoes are probably nowhere near the top of their list as part of the deadly nightshade family. Grapes are apparently their most favorite fruits. Still Kevin that 60 megahertz vibration is a real deal. I am sure they will have a plug-in 60 megahertz electrical trap soon. LOL by the time you finish that Greenhouse project you'll be ready to plant some grapes soon.

Well I have a 3 yrs old Neptune, green seedless..it is actually right in front of the green house.
But...black rot gets it every year and there really isn't anything I can do about it since I'm not spraying.
@"2Angels"#127  Has a concord that will do better, I think I'm going to replace mine with that one.
