Without freezing or cooking?

This is a cool method that's been used forever. Respect!

We have this old way of doing it... Fill the jar with plumbs or cherries... then a bit of sugar and top it off with grappa! You won't be disappointed (or able to drive) :)

Never heard of grappa but I take it by your last sentence it’s a liquor. Even better then water.
