Wind Burn?

Anyone know what this is? Had some strong winds a couple nights ago, and the temps dipped to the 40s. Noticed what looks like rust on the leaves. Up until that point everything was growing healthy.

It looks like it to me. Here’s pictures of the Skip Laurel’s that got battered by very high cold winds at my house. These bushes are usually green all winter.

I will second that it looks like cold damage.
At least the large brown areas.
Smaller spots on the flip side of the large patches?
