Will There be Spring Plant Sales?

I just discovered figs last August. I was unprepared for all of the cuttings that were offered free or for sale.

So my question is:

What happens in the Spring? Will there be a lot of fig plants for sale or free? I know that I'm rooting way more than I'll need and have already been giving away duplicates.

I have some varieties that I've killed in my rooting attempts and wonder if I should try again or wait until Spring and buy them as plants.

i'm keepin an eye on fruitwood nursery for rooted cuttings. theyre basically all 10 dollars and shipping is 15. steal of a deal if youre bad at rooting or just dont have time. But they dont describe anything and a lot of their varieties are smyrna so make sure you check if you can grow em

Plus many people just sell off duplicates. i will be doing so if im so lucky to have some

Where do people sell their duplicates?

Just be aware shipping might be a tad expensive depending on the weight and dimensions of the box. The DMV fig group usually has a Spring get together to sell(?) and/or trade rooted cuttings. @2Angels’ fig frolic is a great event to get free trees
or trade for varieties that is on your wishlist. More importantly, you can talk about figs all weekend long at these events.
