Got this variety a few years back thinking it was WM #1 but honestly it was only labeled as White Madeira (without the #1).
Thought I would give it a chance after one sample last year and we'll it's pretty good.
At this point it reminded me of Corkey's Honey Delight but was twice as large and for a.split second I detected either tart or citric but these notes were fleeting.
I had picked one last week thinking it was ready and it was anything but - I was confused because the fig was soft and had started to droop.
This time I let it get to the point where I imagined it was starting to spoil and turns out it was perfectly ripened.
Guess I'll be hanging onto it for another season.
