White Imperial Currants

Well, I rooted 6" cuttings, 5-6 years ago.... left them in pots, watched them grow. And this year....my first fruits. Like all my fruits, it's a bountiful year... I was so proud of them and happy to see them produce. In love with the color.
I know that's a long time and they probably would have grown faster had I put them in the ground, but like everything, I am hoping to take it with me, when I move...

Tart is right! I always wait to pick until they sweeten, but then the birds steal them all. They don't ever sweeten either so pick them while you can! Jams or incorporating them seems important since they're not good for fresh eating straight up unfortunately.
