White Algiers

Mmmm, I almost picked this one up about 2 yrs ago but I had reached my limit.
I see the eye is open a bit, do you have an issue with that?
It looks great!

Nice!  I like the deep, rich color inside.  How did it taste?  Would you recommend?
Figs are subjective. It was good!

I have no issues with the eye and it has been raining the past few days.

Probably my favourite time of year... just being able to sit and look at all the beautiful figs you're all growing. I'm loving the pics that everyone is posting.

How is the skin on this one?

@"jgkerns13"#41 ...White Algiers such a beautiful fig. I tried to propagate it last winter, but it was one of the missing 40 cuttings that did not make it. From how it looks ((so lovely)) such deep maroon color, and a really good size. I must try again this coming winter I definitely want this Variety in my home Orchard. Congratulations for growing such a should have stopping fig. Is there any chance we could get a photograph of the fruiting tree?

The tree is about 3 years old and maybe a foot tall. It is a variety that should be grafted because it is vary hard to root and very slow to grow. I will try and get a picture once it stops raining.
