When does CDA start putting out figlets?

95% of my trees have out out either a ton of figs or at least started to.

CDA is 2 years old, got it late last year and it put out 2 massive figs that didn't ripen since they formed late and it got cold.

I shuffled it this year in the beginning of April so it's been growing fine just not figlets yet.

Sorry, I don’t have this fig. You’re looking for Constantine d’Algerie, right? Hopefully someone else can help.

I'm in 3rd year and this tree has been slow to produce. The breba came in nicely but were inedible seemingly needing pollination. Fruit ripened like normal but had an empty cavity inside that looked like your typical fig needing pollination. 2 breba fruits were consistent. Weird

Actually I looked up info on this variety it is a common fig doesn’t need pollination. I’m growing it. Rooted it old Italian man way this past December and it’s doing well.

Breba crop is different than main, so that would be the difference i suppose. As of today there is main crop growth, so in a few months we'll know more.

So to answer the question: 3rd leaf gave 1st fig growth and it came later in the season than all its brothers n sisters.

I had a bunch of figs on my first season trees ripen in September last year. This year on second season trees the frog eyes are just starting while many other varieties have plenty of bb to pea sized figs already. In my opinion it sets fruit later but I’m not sure on length til ripe yet.

I just checked my master list I did not root any cuttings of Constantine d’Algerie ... maybe next year.
