Sorry @TorontoJoe but I have to use the “F” word again. I just got another freeze watch for Friday. Jack Frost is definitely coming early.

Freeze watch still in effect from 2am tonight till 9am tomorrow morning. Thank God I don’t have to remove a hundred pots off my roof to shuffle into the garage
I just have 3 pots on my patio to shuffle in the shed.

Teresa my impatiens plants are my guage if we get a frost. So for they are still good. They are usually gone by Halloween. I am enjoying the warm days and cool nights in upstate NY and the leaves are beautiful.

Wel got my 3 container trees inside my laundry room and my little inground tree I covered with a container and a blanket. I love how my laundry room smells of fig trees when I walk into it.

I just rooted them this past winter.

I brought my two potted trees on the deck in preparation for the Nor’easter, but they’ll stay put until moving to the garage for Winter or sunroom to ripen more figs. It’s only a short move either way.
