What a difference 2 days make

We just got 8 inches of snow Tuesday and today it’s almost gone already. Picture one was taken Wednesday morning and the second was this afternoon.

Big difference. Is it just me or does it look like the wind was blowing quite hard in one direction?

My dad says the same thing and so do I.
But my mom and my wife want "pretty plants"
Sometimes I can find ones that we can eat that are "pretty' enough.
But not always.

Those are skip laurels. My husband planted them for privacy. When the polar vortex hit a couple of weeks ago we had extreme winds with it and gave them wind burn.
