Violet Sepor

Has anyone gotten Violet Sepor from One Green World Nursery? I got one from there and one from Off the Beaten Path and both had significantly different leaf patterns last year.

Unfortunately, my OtBP specimen took Significant winter damage, and the one bit that was growing has gotten dug up by squirrels twice now so I don’t know that it is going to survive.

Does anyone have experience to know if OGW’s Violet Sepor is true to type by chance? I didn’t get fruit off of either nursery’s specimens last year so I couldn’t see if they seemed true…

I have not, but I do have Violet Sepor.
I'd have to dig up my notes to see where it came from.

I don’t have OGW’s Violet Sepor, but attach photos of my Violet Sepor tree from JamieD for comparison. It’s also my current profile pic.

I got Violet sepor on figbid from farm62, it did not fruit last year but I can get some leaf pics of mine later

I've got a very mature potted Violet Sepor. I acquired this tree from @Rewton / Stevegofigurefarm his past Fall when he was dispersing his collection.
It looks to have some variation in leaf shape between the fruit bearing branches having club and even spade leaves on the smaller side and on the young growth like the pictured water shoot sucker a large leaf almost finger shaped.
Hope this helps even though it's not a definitive answer.

I will wager the top is not VS.
Bottom picture is more likely VS imo. Curious to see!
