Vincenzo

Vincenzo is VERY delicious. 
Drop of honey at the eye.
Doesn't split. I heavily watered the pot everday while ripening. 
Fig does not detach easily from tree. I had to rip the fig off. Fig was starting to shrivel a little. I think these could dry on the tree in good weather. 
Skin seems a little soft to ripen well during rain, but that's just a guess. 
It ripened indoors perfectly.
I'm very impressed.

The color is very unique upon the start of ripening.  Pasty banana yellow

Just today I was discussing how Vincenzo is different than Vince #3. 

I like how Vincenzo looks... Nice lobes. Seems a compact fig.

Does anyone know its north american background?
