@"ktrain"#2 it definitely looks better than it tasted. All my late season figs were watered down because I adjusted drip run times a little late in regard to the weather change.
I think this tree needs to be on the dryer side to produce 10’s.
@"Figology"#21 . FiaTeo caprified, and uncaprified. Both look like French impressionist fruit to me. Photogenically scrumptious. Do you cultivate your own Caprifigs, and Fig wasps, or are they just active in your area in Los Angeles?
I received a cutting of this one this past winter. It has grown excellent but I was worried that it wasn't common because of the origin area it was found. Great to see that FiaTeo is common and has a good review being uncaprified! Thanks for posting!!
I had this partially caprified FiaTeo today. It was as unique as it was delicious. I ate the thing whole and could taste sweet strawberries with melon undertones. The skin was a little chewy so it was a nice treat. Click for original
@"DCallahan"#71 . I just wanted to say how glad I am to be here with you sir. All your posts are golden. You're always writing some of the best quality posts to be found on figfanatics...Uncaprified FiaTeo is no exception, have you gotten any fruit from her yet.? I'd love to see a picture from your home Orchard.
