Trying to post a new thread

Wow good morning @"ktrain" Kevin glad I finally managed to post a thread. Now how do I include my email in my profile or have I already done that? I gathered that if I don't make my email public I'm invisible to people who are not on Facebook like me? Sorry Kevin it took me forever to learn how to navigate the old forum. Because this one is just getting started it may take me even longer.

It's no problem, we are all learning out way around still.
I'm heading out to the fig frolic now but I'll help you more once it's over.
It will get better.

Hello GoodFriendMike. I like the subtle name change, it looks better capitalized. I'm starting to ripen figs over here but the weather's gotten super chilled out. Not sure I could post another thread to save my life LOL I just kept trying till I did it. I always wondered what it was like in 2015, when the pioneers first travels to the REDACTED forum. LOL now I know.. it was confusing.

@GoodFriendMike I thought it might be fun to put a thread together like The Dating Game. But instead of Bachelors we would have persistent Capri figs. Like Capri fig # 1 are your figs edible? Or Capri fig # 2 how would you describe your leaves? Or Capri fig # 3 would you describe yourself as a vigorous grower? I thought it might be a fun way to start participating in Threads. Unfortunately if I was running the game all the bachelors would turn out to be the only two persistent Capri fig that I am growing at present.

@GoodFriendMike. Yes including common or persistent females would make it much more fun. Since we're going to have some time on our hands acquiring new members, and getting things going here I just thought that might be a super fun game to play. When I saw you were here Mike it just jumped to my head to make it persistent Capri figs. But as you said it could be applied to females to Smyrna to hybrid. I see we have another
((Superstar moderator)) in the house. Hello Figtator.

@Figless I do grow other figs besides Capri. :) But I do understand that everyone that see's my name think's Capri. It is what I talk about the most. But a lot of times it is because that's what people tag me in. Because I am the Capri guy lol. But I am happy to talk about anything fig. Hope to have many great conversations with you here. P.S. You will notice a calmer me here. The real me. There are reasons for everything I do. :)

Mike I am hoping everything will be more relaxed now that we have our administrator back. Plus it's just more relaxing to be relaxed. I am thinking it's likely I'm going to be concentrating on fig fanatics. We need a lot of threads, and reply posts coming out of this venue in the next couple of months to keep this wonderful ball rolling along. Though we already have a good percentage of the active posters here already...

GoodFriendMike do you remember a original post you wrote about two different type of Genus figs hybridizing into something like Ficus Carica. It was a super interesting post because the implied suggestion was that Ficus Carica was itself a likely Hybrid/Species/Genus the title was that one Ficus Genus + another Genus = Ficus Carica or something like it. Do you remember that thread? Is there any way you could ever repost it here? It was a fascinating thread. :)
