Trialing Figs

It seems it would be such a simple thing. But it seems many do not do it correctly.
When trialing figs a person sends you cuttings or trees on there dime. You grow them and evaluate them on yours. This can be expensive and time consuming for you. But if you so choose to do so. You need to do things right. People who trial never get to sell said variety without permission from giver of cutting or tree. This is not a legal thing but a trust thing. Person trialing should always add photo's when updating. I say this because it seems many who trial say this or that and never add photo's. The people sending out things for people to trial rely on the people doing the trailing. If you say it is a great fig. They will be very happy and not question. They will just post what you said. Again it is a trust thing. So please update them with photos they can use. I hope more people start trialing. I am trialing some for three people now. If they are good you will see photo's. Might not know they are mine. But you will see them.
