Toronto hit by bad storm

It nearly blowed me off the road while I was driving. Looked like in the video. I couldn't see it got so dark. I took refuge under a walmart with covered parking. 10 minutes later, it was sunny and calm. Very weird.

About an hour beforehand I put extra tie downs on my greenhouse tents. I'm glad I did.

I'm shocked they held up, although my teepee tent in the front yard had a big tear in the top now. I have to fix it asap....
 
Glad you and family are safe without any bad property damage. For a minute I thought you were going to say that tree was on your house.

I’m thankful it’s not. We had trees that size go down in my neighborhood, but thankfully none of them are especially close to my house. There’s a big maple pretty close, but even if it came down the only thing at risk would be my car 😯
